Karriya AB acts as a platform connecting candidates and employers. We are a facilitator and are not responsible for:

  • The content of job offers or hiring decisions.
  • The conduct or actions of employers using the platform.
  • Guaranteeing job placement or interview outcomes.

4. AI Features and Transparency

The platform uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist with resume analysis and job matching. In accordance with the EU AI Act:

  • Human-in-the-Loop: AI outputs are for informational purposes and decision support only. Final decisions to hire or reject a candidate are always made by humans (employers/recruiters).
  • No Automated Rejection: Our AI does not automatically reject candidates without human review.
  • Accuracy: While we strive for precision, AI models may produce errors. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of their profiles and match results.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, and system designs are the property of Karriya AB or its licensors.

  • User Content: You retain ownership of the data and resumes you upload. However, you grant Karriya AB a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process this content solely to provide and improve our services.
  • Prohibitions: You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute platform content without our express written permission.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Swedish Consumers)

In accordance with the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen):

  • 14-Day Right: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of registration without giving any reason.
  • Withdrawal Button: You may exercise this right by clicking the \\Withdraw/Cancel\\ button in your account settings or by contacting us via email.
  • Immediate Use: By creating an account and immediately utilizing the AI matching services, you request that the service begins during the withdrawal period.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Karriya AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or for security reasons.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.

  • Court: Any disputes shall be settled by the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution: Consumers may also refer disputes to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm (www.arn.se).
